Garry Cooper, LCSW, is a contributing editor of Psychotherapy Networker magazine and Consulting Editor of Psychotherapy Digest.com, in which he covers the latest research, books and ideas that affect mental health and the clinical aspects of therapy. He is a faculty member of Prescott University and teaches courses in clinical skills, treating depression and personality disorders, and other psychopathologies to graduate student. He offers consultation for psychotherapists, and his psychotherapy practice in Oak Park, and Chicago IL, has recently celebrated its 25th year working with adults, couples and adolescents. Cooper is also a writing coach and free-lance editor. His essays and other non-psychological writing have appeared in magazines and newspapers. His latest work appeared in Psychotherapy Networker and April, 2009 Perigee.
